Accommodation
Some of our past seminar attendees have recommended:
🏨 Hotel Normandie
🏨 New Seoul Hotel
🏨 8th & Ardmore Hostel
We also suggest looking in the area west of the dojo, around Wilshire Ave between Normandie Ave and Western Ave — it's safe, walkable, and convenient.
⚠️ We do not recommend staying east of the dojo — that area can be less safe.
To make it easy, check out these preset links for the recommended areas and dates:
Meals
Lunches
Lunches are included with your seminar registration. We usually have an assortment of wraps from Trader Joe's, as well as instant noodles and hot water.
Friday Dinner
Delivery by: The Italian Homemade Company
Our dojo member, Francesco, has generously volunteered to organize lasagna delivery to the dojo as part of our ongoing dojo fundraising.
During the checkout process, you were prompted to let us know if you'll be joining us and what, if any, dietary preferences you have.
We'll also have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available from our dojo fridge.

Saturday Dinner
5pm: Group dinner at Chill Since '93 at "The Grove"
- 189 The Grove Dr, Unit F91-B, Los Angeles, CA 90036
- A new Roman-style pizza concept—casual and easy-going, perfect for a relaxed group dinner
- Parking: Use The Grove’s covered parking structure (entry via The Grove Dr or Fairfax Ave)
- Note: No validation available, but this is the most convenient option
- Travel time from dojo: ~25–30 minutes
Of course, if you prefer, feel free to bring your own food and drink. Or for that matter, feel free to venture out on the Los Angeles restaurant scene on your own.
